July 4, 2021  Fourth of July fireworks and festivities take place throughout the Crystal Coast. Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, Swansboro and Emerald Isle regularly have evening fireworks, and Beaufort has a great "small-town" morning parade that is followed by a community picnic on the courthouse lawn with free ice cream and live music.
