Clam Digger Restaurant, a favorite of locals and visitors, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is located in The Inn at Pine Knoll Shores (formerly known as the Clam Digger Inn). Dinner entrees include steaks and a variety of seafood, as well as pastas, chicken, and pork. There is a special every evening — flounder on Sunday, oysters on Monday, 10% off for locals on Tuesday, three-way seafood combination on Wednesday, shrimp on Thursday, chef's specials on Friday and Saturday. Locals have the schedule memorized, and many enjoy the advantage of the take-out service. Clam Digger has all ABC permits and a large selection of wines and beers. The restaurant opens year round at 6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., and 5 - 9 p.m. daily.
