Two popular camps offered at the Trinity Center are Camp Trinity - a five to seven-day overnight camp which seeks to provide a Christian camping experience- and the summer day camp, Sound to Sea - a week long non-residential science-based hands-on camp that is not affiliated with any religion. Daily activities at Camp Trinity include swimming, sailing, sports, canoeing, and much more for campers in grades 3 through 12. The Sound to Sea summer program includes beach time, sound class, and more based on weekly themes. All of their staff have a college degree in either teaching or the sciences. The Sound to Sea summer program is designed for grades 1 through 6.
In addition to these youth camps, Trinity Center, 62 acres of tranquil maritime forest on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which is owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina, is open to all groups who would like to bring their conference or retreat to this tranquil setting. It offers large meeting rooms, 44 guest rooms, dining facilities for up to 225 people with three daily prepared meals, four dormitories, swimming pools, indoor and outdoor chapels, ocean beach frontage, sound-side docks, and numerous walking trails. Throughout the year, educational programs are scheduled for youth and adults, as well as retreats for prayer, worship, and reflection.
