Hospice's goal is to work with their patients as they spend their last days in the comfort of their own home, alert and pain-free, while being surrounded by familiar faces and the things they love. Hospice offers a team approach that includes all ranges of care from medical and nursing to social and spiritual. Life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, Alzheimer's, end-stage heart and respiratory diseases are addressed with services such as caregiver teaching, assistance and support; nursing services; medical social worker and chaplain services; physical, occupational and speech therapy services; pain and symptom management; medical equipment and supplies; and so much more.
